Lead Pastor

Charles Brodhead, and his wife Leesa, accepted a call as Kona Coast Nazarene's Lead Pastor in Dec. of 2015.  God has uniquely gifted Charles with an ability to connect with various age groups, personally and corporately. He is passionate about connecting people to God and each other while seeking to inspire them to be passionate, dedicated followers of Christ.  As a communicator of the Gospel, Charles strives to present the timeless truth of Scripture for abundant life change.

Called to life of ministry as a teenager at summer camp, Charles began his pastoral journey as a youth pastor at the Arlington Avenue COTN.  He has been privileged to faithfully serve the Kingdom as a youth pastor, family life pastor and executive pastor at five Nazarene Churches in Riverside, Fresno, Bakersfield, Auburn and Lompoc, CA . As an ordained elder for the Church of the Nazarene since 2005 he also holds professional degrees in business administration and marketing.

Charles and and his beautiful wife Leesa have been married for 29 years and have three amazing adult children, Charles D (married to Shandy Lee), Emylee (married to Daniel Giese) and Chadwynn, as well as two adorable grand daughters (Kaylee & Charytee), and a mischievous dog named Koa. Charles is a dedicated husband, father and grandfather who enjoys such hobbies as scuba diving, sports, coaching, cooking, music, reading, travel, and playing with his grand kids.

My name is Hannah. I am 24 years of age. I grew up in MA, but have been living in southern Maine prior to my travels to HI. I am a true Bostonian, writer, somewhat photographer, trying to be a videographer, an authentic converser, deep thinker, singer-songwriter, laughaholic, ocean seeker, live music goer, and a child of God. I'm so excited to join in on what Kona Coast Naz has been doing. I believe worship is an act of adoration to our Father. We all have our own way of communicating and giving thanks to Him and my favorite way is through music. I invite you each Sunday to feel free to stand, sit, dance, laugh, and engage with Jesus. My hope is your relationship grows deeper and stronger and you know how loved you are! Thanks for the warm welcomes. I am honored to join you and excited to see what God does.
